How to Get Meter Reading on Kyocera Printers

If you’ve purchased a Kyocera TASKalfa or Kyocera ECOSYS Multifunction Printer/Printer from Tangerine Office Machines and enrolled it in our Service Maintenance Program, it is important that you know how to get your meter read, as we require our customers to submit this every 25th of the month. With the directions below, you can quickly get the meter reading on Kyocera machines. Keep in mind that the instructions may vary slightly from model to model.


How to Get Meter Reading on Kyocera TASKalfa

  • Step 1 – Press the “…” Button on your display panel as shown in the Picture on the left.
  • Step 2 – Touch the “Counter” option.

  • Step 3 – On the Device Counter Screen, you will see the status page, which includes the total number of printed pages.
  • Step 4 – Alternatively, press the “Print Status Page” on top of the Device Counter Screen. Once printed, you can scan the status page and upload it to our Submit Monthly Meters form. You can also screenshot the scanned status page and submit the image file either in JPG or PNG format.

How to Get Meter Reading on Kyocera ECOSYS

  • Step 1 – Press the System Menu or Counter Button in the control panel.
  • Step 2 – On the top, press “Report Print” and then “Status Page.” 
  • Step 3 – A notification will appear asking: This will be printed: Status Page. Are you sure? Click yes, and wait for the status page to be printed.
  • Step 4 – Scan the status page and upload it on our Submit Meter Reads form. You can also screenshot it and save it as an image file in JPG or PNG format, then submit it.

Submitting Meter Reads and Print Status Page

To comply with your Service Maintenance Contract requirements, customers must submit toner and meter readings in our Submit Meter Reads page. Follow these steps to submit your meter reads:

  • Step 1 – Open a new browser and go to this link: https://tangerineom.com/submit-meter-reads/
  • Step 2 – Fill out the details asked on the form. For the Meter Reads and Current Ink Levels, please refer to the Print Status Page and the Print Supplies page you have printed.
  • Step 3 – Upload the Print Status page. Once uploaded, click Submit.

Please be reminded that meters are due every 25th of the month. Failure to submit within the due date will result to a $35 non-reporting device fee and could result in overage charges.

Customers who do not cooperate with the reconnection/reinstallation within the deadline will be subject to the above $35 charge and account freeze. Device reconnection is only available by remote support. Customers who require an on-site technician will be charged a $175 Field IT Fee.

For your convenience, we have two options for an automated meter collection program: the Kyocera Fleet Service (KFS) program for Kyocera devices.

With these programs, you do NOT have to manually submit meters, saving you valuable time and effort. In addition, once your device reaches 30% or lower, we will automatically send you toner replenishment, ensuring that you never run out of supplies unexpectedly.
